Oft quoted passage:

Quote:
Who will provide the grand design?
What is yours and what is mine?
'Cause there is no more new frontier
We have got to make it here

By the way, Tina and the other two girls on the line in the last hour
of this Tailgate said you were redundant.

Do you have any words in your defense?

I listened to this the night it came out. Of course, David was trying to get this
sort of attention, which is obvious because he's noodlin' in affairs that have nothing
to do with his life - per se. He's more concerned about what everyone else is doing
rather than his own life. So is it a surprise that he brought this upon himself?

I honestly felt horrible for him when I heard him crying on the radio. Of course in my
mind I thought, shit man, if death is the worst thing coming for you, and that will lead
you to your bliss... well get back to pleasing and delighting yourself until the black boots
show up at your door. Serve them some coffee and let it play out as you feared it
would. Now you have to realize that he is deeply afraid of what he brought upon
himself - - like it says in the Bible, "what I fear has come upon me."

I can relate to such things. The tyrant in my outer kingdom was suggestions of ill
health. Now if you've been there, you realize that this can be torture too. It wasn't
until iON taught me to STOP reading and listening to all that shit, fear-mongering, and
get back on point being happy... and I'm wondering if it was slipping into a parallel world
when I applied it because my world got exciting and delicious. Then of course, the contrast
would come and I'd entertain the doom-and-gloom for a bit, my body would get sickly again,
and the torturing would ensue...

So in closing, it reminds me of this documentary I just watched about Alexander Ovechkin -
arguably the greatest hockey player alive today - and how his parents imparted a golden
lesson to him. His parents were both Russian elite Athlete's, his mother a basketball phenom
and his father a soccer star. So Ovechkin lost his brother at age 10, and THAT VERY SAME
DAY, his parents took him to a hockey game. They sat in the bleachers crying and told him
"YOU DO WHAT YOU LOVE" and that has been his motto since.

Now look at the guy, he parties like a rock-star, kicks ass on the ice rink, babes love him,
and he doesn't give a fuck when he drives 160 mph in his new Mercedes Benz... breaking
laws left and right. He has got the lesson!

re dun dant.......Yes, and that has served Me well. If it were anything else, I may not have gotten what it is that Bob has been sayin' all along. Bob's command of language has allowed Me the pleasure
of being in the soup and 'stirring the soup' . (and/both)
It's fabulous that Bob is Never-it in his play of living his life.

lather,rinse,repeat. lather,rinse,repeat. lather,rinse,repeat.

re-wind dant=(that)
iON: "dun,dun,dun!
re-wind dant=(that)

Now...Nevermind!

soooooooooooooo
Row,row, row Your boat
Gently in the stream.
Merrily,merrily,merrily,merrily.
Life is but a dream.

BOB: Bart, you're listening but not hearing.

Pam Wall said I was redundant. Tina and Jill disagreed with Pam and tried to explain to Pam that they grew to appreciate the themes I appeared to be repeating over the last year and a half.

Shame on you, Bart.

haahah That's great. I appreciate you sharing the difference.

Now, if I might respond, you're "reading" what I've written
and taking that as the entirety of my knowing.

Of course I heard all of that. I didn't care to specify and parse
it all out (i.e., precisely who said what), because I wanted to
hear your response to the notion of redundancy itself.

I know Pam said it. I also know Tina responded as if it were
a service, cutting Pam off, and that Pam didn't then bother
to correct her.

I hear and know all. ahaha

For the record, conversing with you is always a lively and novel
experience. And there are always new perspectives uncovered,
discovered and shared - that's the point of engaging. Why else
would one do so?

The redundancies are elements / factors that are unchanged,
regardless of when or where we perceive ourselves to be.

One of these unchanging factors is "what you see isn't real". This
is redundant, because it applied then, and applies just as much
now. There may be differing ways to phrase this, but some factors
cannot get left behind; they bear repeating.

If it weren't for redundancy, many people would miss gems that both
you and iON have shared.

Tina's comments were correct. For some people, certain points won't
sink in unless they've been heard three or four times.

"The knowing behind text in post is larger than it appears."
