Everyone out there - I would love your two cents on how to answer the ubiquitous question..."how old are you?", which is irrelevant to the gang here as we have decided we are living as long as we desire and looking however we want.

I tried the answer of "I'm eternal" this week but that didn't really work. It was a guy trying to pin down my exact age to determine child bearing potential so he was having none of that answer. He never did get an answer though.

So any ideas would be much appreciated.

"I dont know exactly" Thats my line or "I am as young as I am". But better still, "why do you ask that question" and put the monkey on to his back.

I like those - thanks Gregg.

In this particular instance he wanted to know due to child bearing issues. I replied how it was irrelevant and what about Sara popping out babies in the Bible when she was in her 90's - as this guy was Catholic. He was having none of my non-answer but luckily my phone went dead so I didn't have to deal with it in the end.

But others really want to try and pin you down with a numerical value for some reason. Same with my dog, Booda, everyone wants to know his age. Why? I don't care how old anyone else's dog is. I either want to play with the doggie or not.

There is no age on the internet.

I always seem to forget... genuinely... my kids always fill in the blanks for me! However, what do you all think about Birthdays? I prefer to celebrate the Birthday of others, not to mark the time, but to celebrate another human creator.

When you consciously experience yourself as immortal, this will become totally irrelevant - I am past the typical "mortal" childbearing age but Ion says I am extremely fertile and watch it unless I want another offspring - I have both a 21 year old and 82 year old interested in me - and other men of various ages - when age truly means nothing to you - you can appreciate the wisdom gleaned as an eternal being - and if a guy - this guy presses ask if he wants to be with YOU or just look for an oven to bake his bread in - Just kidding
and if you want children yourself sometime, set up the intention to have one with someone who knows age does not matter.

I'm totally down with that last post and know it's the truth.

I'd just really like to come up with a witty, smart ass line to that question "How old are you?" that will make people not dare probe any further.

how about.. " I am ageless, how about you? How old are you, exactly?
or, "I'll have to ask my mom and get back with you. After all she remembers the day I was born better than I."

LOL :)
