attended a concert last Sat. night, in the rain, 4 hours, middle of the show noticed my diamond ring (old solitaire from grandma from the 1800's) was missing it's stone...thought to myself, darn, loved it, lost it, it's okay, had it for when I wanted it...., told my husband next to me it was "gone". He looked beneath his feet, in the dark, in the rain, on a porous surface and within 30 seconds located it and gave it to me......

the ultimate in relax and allow, and my power observed.

OK..... As I was driving thru the marina in My truck, I pulled up alongside a nice 25ft sailboat on it's trailer that just came out of the water.
The Gentleman was standing along side his boat. We chatted for a 2-3 minutes. As I put My truck in gear, I stalled out. Then it would not start. Tried 3-4 times to start My truck.
I took a deep slow breath and exhaled...
than spoke aloud in 'the language all My own'
Turned the key. Truck started. Drove home 'singing a new song.'

I was at a seminar in Cancun. Due to overbooking I agreed to share my room with a stranger- a decision I quickly came to regret-(it's complicated).
Was thinking..."Harvey, (NP) get me OUTTA here..this is NOT gonna work!"

At the very next meeting THAT day, an announcement was made that the resort had some big mucky mucks coming in and because of overbooking, they didn't have enough rooms for everyone. If any of us would will willing to give up our room (Oh Boy WOULD I!?!) the resort was offering a special deal to say thank you.
I rushed to the lobby, took a number and stood in line, patiently waiting to hear "the deal".

Everybody around me was bitching, moaning and complaining-they were taking too long, blah blah blah...
I was in my bliss and SO thrilled by the prospect of getting a room to myself that I was gonna stay there for as long as it took no matter what!
I remained calm and serene through the entire process and tuned everybody else out...I was in my place of power baby and nobody was gonna rain on my parade!
When at last my number was called, the young lady helping me could not have been more delightful Especially in light of everything she had been through with the people ahead of me... (oh boy, people can be something else sometimes you know? I was embarrassed for them and felt sorry for the young lady behind the counter who was having to listen to them rag on and on and on....!)
Everybody around me had been complaining about the crummy accommodations they were being switched to and the "inconvenience" of having to commute off property.blah blah blah blah BLAH...

But I was thinking," You can stick me ANYWHERE, as long as I am AWAY from my psycho 'roommate'!" lol
I was just so happy...FREE, I'm FREE at last! Yes, yes YES!

The woman behind the counter smiled and said to me "How come you're so calm and peaceful and happy, when everybody else is freaking out around here?"
I replied, "Well, I'm not everybody else, I'm ME, and I'm just happy to be here.
I'm having a great time and I Love this place!
I KNOW that everything is going to work out just perfect for me ,
and I do SO appreciate everything that you and the owners of this fine resort are doing to assist me.
This is just great. Thank you SO much for all your help!"

"Well Sir, In exchange for giving up your room, we are going to move you to the downtown HILTON for the remainder of your stay.
Of course transportation will be provided for you, as well as any and all meals."

I'm thinking hmmmm sounds like a real hardship to me, but, hey OK!!

"We also are giving you another 4 nights/5 days all expenses paid/all inclusive return visit to your choice of the PALACE resorts here in Cancun AS WELL AS complimentary R/T airfare from your home. You may return anytime within the next 2 years."

I couldn't believe my ears! I felt like I'd won the lottery here.

I explained that I had been sharing a room with another gentleman, and that we would REALLY prefer separate accommodations(!!) if possible.

"Not a problem sir, as a token of our appreciation, we can give the other gentleman the same offer we've made you."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes sir, really/"

I'm pinching myself, thinking this is just TOO cool. and thinking that my "roommate" will be thrilled by the fact that I just snagged HIM a private room at the Hilton, an all expenses paid RETURN trip to the resort/ paid R/T airfare yada yada....what manna from heaven!

Well ya know, there's just no pleasing some people, no matter what you do, and my "roommate" was NOT a happy camper...
he LIKED our "accommodations". (!?!) (calgon take me away!)

I was just like, "Sorry dude, but THIS is the way it is...it was nice knowing you but, adios amigo.
Have a nice life-don't write, don't call, don't even look back! It's been real...

"Forced" ))) to relax and allow some sheer relaxation today (my translation: accepting a body slow down through a perceived dis-ease, which when you have met your NP, is such an easier experience of sitting with dis-ease....hmmmm?!....sitting on my ass and doing nothing most of the day, and I mean no-thing, at least no thing that I thought I "had to" or "should" ....after weeks of a new schedule of constant movement at a worky job and being out of the house all day every day...

Just turned on the tv and the lap top and vascilated between the amazement of the boob tube (thrilled to have on demand and a mute button at my fingertips), and even more thrilled to have Information Farm to play during the mutes {thanks ED}....COOL recording of Angela and Chad on last weeks tale-gate, surely living up to it's name, thanks you guys...

Interesting discovery on Oprah today...(used to love to have this show on in the background when I worked from home...don't miss it after the injection today...., her latest magazine cover, "Own Your Power"!!! She is obviously in cahoots with iON ))))))
