Even though I had gotten regular emails from iON since May, 2009 (6 weeks after iON had appeared), I didn't realize until about a year later that iON had used JW's email to send us the suggestion on March 26, 2009.

I had assumed it was from JW until JW said to me almost a year later that he didn't recall suggesting "iON".

Here's the sequence:

A. iON manifests on March 18, 2009, but the session is not taped. However during the reading, I think I'm talking to the reconvened "Evergreens", and the notes Carolyn typed indicate that's how I addressed the voice of JW.

B. The second reading with iON (whom Carolyn and I called "I AM" because that's what iON said [sometime during the session] it should be called) on March 20 which is the first one recorded. Its length is 3:11:22.

C. The third reading with iON on March 22 wherein we began calling the voice, "Ian", (Carolyn and I had decided "I AM" was too broad and corny) and which was the second one recorded. Its length is 3:04:16.

D. Then this email correspondence between Carolyn and JW, starting on March 23:

1.

To: JW
Subject: Just in case

Let me know if you got the file from last night.
Here it is again.

Ready Roy, I had to project for a while to decompress, it helped but sharpened the desire. This is fun, fun, fun. 12 bells is very well.

E. The fourth reading with iON (and the third one recorded) on March 25 wherein we engaged for 6:06:22.

F. Then Carolyn noticed this email (observe the quotation marks) the next morning (March 26):

6.
From: "JW"
Date: March 26, 2009 12:44:53 AM (Hawaii time)
To: "Carolyn Dean'"
Subject: RE: Just in case

Tar, the better it gets the better it gets. This is really living

Selah
J W (Ion?)

G. We subsequently looked up "iON" on Wikipedia and found about 5 different uses so we decided to use that name for the reading on March 26. Its length is 3:59:22.

I do recall choosing the tag, "iON", just before the reading started because the email had suggested it and we thought it was kewl, but we hadn't discussed it with JW before the reading. We told him after the session and he rather quietly accepted it without too much fanfare. He certainly didn't seem to have much stake invested in it.

A year later I figured out why.

Saw an Ad on British TV last night for Powerade ion4.
It was all about the "ion" x4 (with added phosphorus).

I thought this message was interesting; especially, the underlined part.

iON's purpose (e.g., to deliver a message(s)), or even that he / she had
a purpose, seems to be implied (foretold?) by that statement.
