Have listened: He was incredibly impressive that Professor McLuhan. I am interested in his concept of soul given that his focus appeared to be externality and tactility. Maybe his focus and encapsulation (including the recognition of a past present and future in the expanded now-ness of his then) were his combined totality and soul life is irrelevant. If indeed soul is that which feeds on impressions then Marshall prepared huge meals for us all every time he spoke/lectured. 12 words carved on stone may have been more expedient but I can embrace the glib flippancy of the medium - and end by: grinning... |

I now have seen (or should I say more powerfully - 'overheard') that the "steady flow of nourishment" for Marshall McLuhan's soul was The Church. |
