Is this a representation of the joining of heaven and earth ? the uniting of opposite triangles- one pointing down from Heaven the other pointing up from Earth creating the Merkaba ? the transformation into the perfect cell (covalent bonding) ? Does Michelangelo's painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel depict this process ?

This was discussed recently in the October 13 MUM with Scott and Chad. I mention this in a post I made in the "Recent MoMs with iON" thread (http://goo.gl/NPGYu). iON points out that this same merging / ascension is also represented elsewhere (e.g., in da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" drawing, the Star of David, the biblical Heaven coming to Earth, etc.).
