"So, uh, let's move on to year-end projections..." *sound of elephant screaming* This might be fun. OK, we know iON came onto the boards hot and heavy after, possibly a year's or so (maybe more) hiatus, stirred up a lot of controversy, and then disappeared. Bob has said little to nothing on the subject, save for a few cryptic comments. I haven't been on any of the "calls" that may have occurred since iON's / J.W.'s absence, so I admit I'm in the dark. I enjoy that though. I'm weird that way. Bob may or may not have explained, but I'm more interested in the space that has been created in iON's / J.W.'s absence. Bob actually made a comment about this on PayDay a couple of days ago, saying, in effect, what does iON / you mean to you? So, what does it mean to you? Realizing that iON is you and you are iON, what is your experience of the absence of the sound of / interaction with iON / J.W.? The conversation may be irrelevant and phatic, but what the hell? Maybe we'll uncover something. To me, at first, I noticed the absence and preferred the interaction. It wasn't long, however, before I began enjoying considering the true presence of iON - what iON represents - inside myself (which was, in part, the reason for the new avatar). iON is merely stating what exists. We like what he has to say, because it really is wondrous. But, again, as Bob has said, iON's like the Howard Cosell - he's the announcer for what is taking place. What is taking place is the real story. I say this without diminishing the phenomenon of iON, because it is all interrelated. iON can't fucking go anywhere, because he is us. Wherever you go, there you are. haha Another question, What if iON never returned (in the vocal sense of J.W.'s interaction with us)? The space created here is good fodder for reflection and analysis, if you're into that sort of thing. We have time, so why not? haha |

hmmm...that would be a break down into our system if ION left us...but then again, it would be where we left our own non-physical.... just the thought of not hearing ION's voice would have a causual affect on many |

You will act and be as one. You already are one - you are composed of non-physical, and when you interact with iON, you're talking to yourself. It's your field communicating with you. Just know that even though you may not perceive iON, he's right there inside you. When you laugh, iON laughs with you, and when you cry, iON laughs at you...well, at least he's fun at least 50% of the time, but for now that will have to do. |
