pre-ionism: The center of the universe is where the big bang originated. The universe is governed by laws, which are not subject to change. We can observe and measure the results of these laws. We are subject to time and live a linear existence. Life is finite or a series of finite lives. We are the result of chemical interactions and mistakes (natural selection), which created our DNA. There is finite mater in the universe. If we have something then there is less for other people. God (if he exists at all) is separate from us. We must sacrifice and struggle to achieve positive change. The only absolutes are death and taxes. Etc.

ionism: I am God the creator. I am the center of the universe. I can be do or have anything I desire. The universe is expanding. There is always more. All negative experiences are contrast to help me decide what path to take to my bliss. Without contrast we cannot create. There is no such thing as time only timing. There are three kingdoms the outer, the middle, and the inner. We are bound only by the constraints of the labyrinth of our mind. Be a selfish creator and let everyone else sort it out for themselves. There is no need for death unless it is the fastest path to your bliss. Etc.
