I looked him up, report back on it later maybe, Edukators is on the Netflix instantview, i'll check it out,

I saw the Fountain pretty recently, I liked it, was cool, something to see a few more times, soon. It was really good, and fast paced, the director of it has a new movie coming out, the Black Swan

iON mentioned my favorite Eddie Murphy movie, the Golden Child, I totally forgot about that one too, I laughed! It has all kinds of weird things in it, I'm going to see it again soon, I also have Vampire in Brooklyn, that I haven't seen yet, and Let the Right One In, is another vampire film, it has an american remake coming out that looks good, so I'll check the original one out first.

Helen, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicean barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary, wayworn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.
On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece
And the grandeur that was Rome.

Lo! in yon brilliant window-niche
How statue-like I see thee stand,
The agate lamp within thy hand!
Ah, Psyche, from the regions which
Are Holy Land!

Speaking of the fastest path to ones joy,
I have some Amish lads helping me work on my house.
I have to pick them up in the am and take them back home at the end of the day.

Without a doubt, the fastest path to their joy lies in DUMPSTER DIVING!
I drive the "get away car" and indulge them with a few stops on the way taking them home.
They get so excited that it's fun just being a witness to their delight

OMG for them it's Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the epitome of everything wasteful and decadent in the "English" world rolled into one frolicking romp through the back alleys

You wouldn't believe some of the booty they find...5 brand new -still in the box- coffee makers the other night!?!
Produce, bread and pastries, meat ( 25 pounds of chicken/a bunch of boneless pork roasts)deli sandwiches, pizza-it's unreal!
One of the guys found a brand new compressor one time (that he sold for $100).

As for me I love listening to cool music on http://www.lastfm.com (B-tribe/ERA/Opera Babes/Celtic Women)

On the fastest path to my joy, in the "thoughts become things" dept, I've gone to the birds!
I have had several, very costly, exotic tropical winged ones GIVEN to me.

Speaking of the AMISH, there is a fascinating documentary called THE DEVILS PLAYGROUND that looks at the rites of "Rumspringa"

The anabaptists believe that a person should be old enough to decide for themselves whether they want to be "Amish"..so at age 16 they go forth into the modern world and anything goes (and boy DOES It!) ha
They drink and party and go WILD until they get it all out of their system and then decide which life they prefer to live.

Some films I keep going back to INJOY……..

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL - father recreates a parallel universe in the middle of adversity. Child with his imagination brings it to life.

UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN - for matters of the heart, if you just relax and allow and the lady bug might land on your shoulder bringing you what you were looking for; breath taking scenery.

CHOCOLAT - full of magical moments; the authority of the Catholic Church against the Power of a gipsy woman. Mesoamerican’s secret ingredient branded as to bring in to you the “devil”; passionate and phunny.

:)

Life is Beautiful is an amazing example of creation for me...from being so free one doesn't create bondage even when it appears that is all there is....:)
