Looks like you're on number three and signaling to the waiter
for number four. hahaaha No verbal cues. Only hand signals.

By the way, Bob, you should have the "Please Wait To Be Seated" sign
posted wherever you go. Maybe get it printed on a t-shirt. haha

That looks like a fun place.

What is not obvious looking at this photo is that one of those stainless steel flasks fills the glass cup 1.5 times.

I was strangely impressed that someone of Bob's stature could consume this much ice cream.

I asked the waiter if this seemed unusual to him. And he said ...

"I have another customer who finished drinking three of those milk shakes"

I said: "You mean like tonight or recently?"

Waiter: "No I mean since we opened the cafe 18 years ago."

Bob looked quizzical for a moment then said:

"You're saying: I'm tied for first place in the history of this establishment."

Waiter: "Yes"

Bob hesitated as though he had options to consider.

Bob: "I guess you better bring me another one!"

Later that summer I was watching an opening scene from the TV show "Fringe"
where we first discover that Walter Bishop is obsessed with milk shakes.

"Xenochrony" - Strange-timings (in this case) between Bob and his Extensions.

BOB: That happened at the end of May, 2008, as my bride and I spent 10 days in L.A. before flying to Maui (entering Maui through the Fifth Gate, according to iON) on June 2.

We were wrapping up our cruise through the streets of L.A. for many hours while listening to Zappa music and surprised at the amazing stereo in our rented vehicle.

I'm wearing the same clothes in the video of me on Venice Beach that week:

iON was lurking.

That's great - from Hollywood to Heaven.

Riding around L.A. / Beverly Hills, etc., is surreal enough as it is, but to then
travel to Hawaii...Pretty cool.

And I've watched all of the Venice videos, as as well as the other similar video
series with, probably, the same person following you with that handheld camera.

It was nice to get that informal stroll on camera as you reflect on what's been
happening. It gives the impression that you're always on the move. haha
