I am fascinated by these types of stories. I thought once it happened to me.
I got off on the wrong floor of the building I live in, not paying attention I walked to my "apartment". All floors look the same. I was on 4th floor instead of 3rd, but it looked exactly the same, so I didn't notice any difference. I went to my door and was trying to open and my key wasn't working. After 3 or 4 minutes of struggling, someone opened the door. Imagine someone opens the door to the place you live at supposedly, total stranger. It was dark inside and a woman poked her head out, with a rosary in her hand. (Clearly I scared the Jesus out of her). So I said who are you? She scared me too. I was so confused my tongue felt numb. I started pushing the door to see why she was in my apartment. I thought "OMG" I went to another universe, I did it!! Until she said you are on wrong floor. I looked and it was wrong door number. LOL!!!
ghahahahaaa
I like Steven Wright's joke on that,
Quote:
"Last night somebody broke into my apartment and replaced everything with exact duplicates...
When I pointed it out to my roommate, he said, "Do I know you?"
I also like,
Quote:
"I have an existential map. It has 'You are here' written all over it."
